BENT OUT OF SHAPE

It was a rough outing again at Lincoln Speedway on Sunday night. Joe timed trialed 18th out of 46 cars. That started him on the pole in heat race #2 and thats when trouble struck. On the first lap, Joe got bent out of shape and got hit, spun and got hit head on by another car. The front end frame damage on the 99 was to much, causing the team to pack it up for the night with B-main and A-main left on the schedule.

Please come out and support us in the last races of the 2008 Racing season. Friday night at Trail-way Speedway gates open at 5:30 PM and racing starts at 7:30 PM.

RAIN WINS AT TRAIL-WAY

After last weeks unwanted rollover, the 99 team skipped Lincoln and scrambled all week long to repair the car for Friday night action at Trail-way Speedway. A well needed wet Thursday and Friday caused the track to cancel allowing the team more time to go over the car once again. This weekends schedule will be Trail-way on Friday and Lincoln on Saturday. The following weekend Joe will be at Trail-way on Friday and as of now Hagerstown on Saturday the 13th.

Please come out and support us in these last races of the 2008 Racing season. Friday night at Trail-way Speedway gates open at 5:30 PM and racing starts at 7:30 PM. Saturday at Lincoln Speedway gates open at 5:00 PM and racing starts at 7:00 PM.

AN UPSIDE DOWN VIEW

What a difference a week can make. After winning our first 358 race last week, tonight was a night to forget. I had a great heat race and finished 3rd. From there we started 8th in the feature. and while trying to make a pass on lap 3, the car running in front of me got sideways and I went low to attempt to get by. My left front caught one of tires on the berm and sent me spinning into another tire which caused me to flip and get a unwanted upside down view of the track. I am ok but the car will need some work. Unfortunately it looks like we will not be running Lincoln due to a bent frame. We'll keep our heads up though and move on because this sort of thing can happen a lot in this sport, and we've been able to keep our car in really good shape this year.

Come out and support us next Friday night at Trail-way Speedway. Gates open at 5:30 PM and racing starts at 7:30 PM.

TRONE CLAIMS FIRST 358 VICTORY

Friday night at Trail-way Speedway the JTR motorsports team had the right set-up to finally land the blue and orange #99 in victory lane for the first time in 2008 and for the first time in a 358 Sprint Car.

In victory lane, Joe said..."Things finally came together for the us. We ran 3rd in the heat race and started 6th in the feature and passed Rick Horn for the lead on a lap 10 restart and picked up my first career 358 win over Jeff Rohrbaugh. I'm extremely excited that this day has finally arrived. I want to thank my parents, sponsors, crew, family and friends and fans for supporting me.

Come out and support the team this weekend at Trail-way and Lincoln.

17TH AT LINCOLN

The JTR Motorsports team returned to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. We finished 5th in the heat, ran 3rd in the consi and 17th in the feature. We continue to struggle at Lincoln, but at least made the show. This weekend was the Trail-Way / Lincoln shootout, which paid extra money to the top 10 combined finishers from both nights and we ended up in 8th place in the shootout points. Hopefully we have all of the problems resolved and are ready for the remainder of the season. Come out and support the team.
